A couple have warped pretty good but it s a solid floor and i suspect it ll last a good 10 years or more.
Should i get a wood or mesh floor trailer.
I wish i had gotten one with a wood floor.
We would get up tight but eventually the forks would start bouncing with the trailer and loosen up.
My dad and i use to haul our bikes on a metal utility trailer.
Bought one with a wood floor and haven t experienced the problem any more.
I m waiting for one of those cheapo welds to break and send my bike crashing through the floor.

15 20 years out of a trailer floor is pretty darn good.
It s a good idea to replace the floor boards with new treated lumber as needed.
Pressure treated lumber as a replacement for old boards or plywood helps the bed of your utility trailer withstand the elements for years.
My buddy says i should use u bolts and have them around the supports under the mesh floor.
I haul motorcycles and that mesh makes me very nervous.
There is bracing every 24 or so.
Drill thru the ply and the metal trailer frame.
Also i need to add wheel chocks too.

The wire mesh isn t that sturdy.
I let them float and expand contract as they need.
The last floor i put in this trailer was near 20 years ago did it the same way.
